GCC salvage lots: buy, fix, flip [USD]
tableEstimates only. Upside = 70% of clean market value (rebuilt-title resale) minus current bid minus estimated repair. Repair is a share of the car's value set by damage type.
Salvage and lightly damaged cars at auction across the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar, ranked by estimated upside. Figures are estimates. Upside takes a damage-dependent share of clean market value as rebuilt-title resale (80% for minor cosmetic damage down to 35% for flood or fire), then subtracts the current bid and an estimated repair cost. Repair is a share of the car's value set by damage type. Ended auctions drop off daily. Market value is the median of clean GCC listings for the same brand, model and year. How the repair math works. Each lot's damage report maps to a granular category: front, rear or side collision, roof, undercarriage, mechanical, minor cosmetic, flood or fire. Each category has a parts basket (a front collision needs bumper, headlamps, hood, fender and radiator). The repair bill is the sum of PartSouq median prices for those parts plus a 50% labor factor; while the parts catalog is still filling in, a category falls back to a typical GCC bodyshop figure. Market value is the median clean-listing price for the same brand, model and year across the GCC portals (minimum 3 comparables). Upside = market value, minus current bid, minus estimated repair.
Read the ranking with care. Bids sit near zero until auctions heat up, so headline upside overstates the final margin. Flood and fire lots are priced with a heavy repair assumption but are often parts-only in practice.
